SouthWest Wireless
utilizes wireless equipment which spans the distance of
up to 13 miles away from our tower locations.
**some locations can only reach approximately 5 miles***
This enables us to reach rural areas which are
not capable of DSL or Cable Internet. Each customer
determines if they have line-of-sight (meaning, a clear
view to a tower location) to our tower location. If
line-of-sight is available and a contract is signed, we
will come out and install an SU unit which will
communicate to our tower location. From here we will run
a cable to the inside of your house to hook up to
your computer to run at the subscribed speed.
